Lincoln Unified School District is offering an online driver's education course through MyCaliforniaPermit.com free of charge for any high school student 15 years or older enrolled at Lincoln High School or Village Oaks High School.
This course is the online education portion necessary to receive a driver's permit. The course will require 30 hours of instruction to complete. Students who successfully complete this course will receive an official DMV Certificate of Completion of Driver Education, mailed directly to their home. This certificate is required to obtain a learner’s permit for teenagers between the ages of 15½ and 17½ .
*Behind-the-wheel training is not included.
